Concrete Work
Quality Driveways, Patios
& Repairs in Denver
Concrete cracks. It’s not if, it’s when. Denver’s freeze-thaw cycles, soil movement, and tree roots guarantee your driveway or patio will eventually crack, sink, or break apart. The question isn’t whether you’ll need concrete work – it’s whether you’ll fix it before small cracks become big problems that cost three times as much to repair.
What We Pour and Fix
We handle new concrete installation and repairs for driveways, patios, walkways, steps, foundations, and slabs. Whether you’re pouring new concrete from scratch or repairing sections that have cracked and settled, we work throughout the Denver metro area on residential and commercial projects.
New installation means proper base preparation – compacting soil correctly, using gravel base for drainage, installing rebar or wire mesh for reinforcement, and pouring to the right thickness for your specific use. Your driveway needs four inches minimum, six if you’re parking heavy vehicles. Your patio can be thinner but still needs proper reinforcement. We also install control joints in the right places so when concrete does crack, it cracks where we planned instead of randomly across your surface.
For repairs, we assess what’s salvageable and what needs replacing. Sometimes we can lift and level sunken sections. Sometimes we need to cut out damaged areas and pour new concrete that blends with your existing surface. When we’re matching old concrete, we use the same mix design and finish so repairs don’t stick out.
Proper curing makes the difference between concrete that lasts decades and concrete that starts spalling after three years.
We protect fresh concrete while it cures, especially important in Denver where temperature swings can mess up the curing process if you’re not careful.
